Better than anyone else, Jonas Salk has expressed the challenge we all face during the present transition into a new epoch.

In Salk´s use of the Sigmoid curve and the epochal shift into epoch B, Eva has made associations into the symbolic meaning of the Runic letter B, Berkana, which stands for growth and healing on all levels.

Healing and balance in the relationship of man to man, man to Nature and man to the Divine.

That´s the evolutionary transformation for the planet implied in Salk´s philosophy for an age of wisdom.

Salk’s key symbol was his use of the population growth curve, the Sigmoid curve as a central metaphor for his whole thinking. According to Salk we are in the transition of two major epochs in the history of man, and the outcome of this process will very much depend upon our tolerance and our ability to cooperate on another level of existence. In order to do so, we need to comprehend the whole, and this transformation occurs on an individual and a collective level.
