in Stockholm, Sweden into a family of partly Norwegian-Danish-Scottish background.
Met Dr. Jonas Salk in 1974 at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara as he was presenting his book The Survival of the Wisest. Salk became Evas mentor for the rest of his life. In Santa Barbara Eva studied art and English literature. In Chicago she studied textile design at the Art Institute. Has her academic degree in English and Religious Science at the University of Stockholm and Uppsala. Work experience includes University of Stockholm and its Dialogue Forum Parnassen, public relations for The Right Livelihood Award, Head of Education for The Swedish Publishers Association and Director of the bookshop Vattumannen BooknBow in Stockholm. Has been in charge of her own business since 1995, and works as Community Developer for the municipality where she lives.
